Created in 1842, the Public Libray of Lleida (Catalonia – Spain) is a cultural centre managed by the Government of Catalonia, the Generalitat from 1980.

Currently located at the centre of the city of Lleida, it has been redone and represents a cultural centre for all the citizens of the province. With an area of around 6000sq meters the library has an objective to maintain and increase the cultural bibliographic patrimony of Lleida.

Public address system is managed by an ENVIRO system. Basic requirements were EVAC pre-recorded messages, as well as scheduled and paging messages to announce opening and closing times. Due to peculiar installation requirements almost each floor has got and independent and tailored ENVIRO chassis in charge of the management of the corresponding P.A.

EVAC pre-recorded messages are triggered from the fire detection system.
