GIUGIARO’S DOLBY 5.1 SYSTEM WITH ECLER EQUIPMENT

Giugiaro Design head office in Montcalieri (Torino, Italy) has just installed in their  “Sala Virtuale” a 5.1 Sound System with ECLER cabinets and amplifiers.

Now the Giugiaro Symphony, created by Ennio Morricone to celebrate Giugiaro’s “first” 50 years of activity in the car design field, transmits all the feelings and emotions of a long and worldwide recognized career. In 1999 Giugiro won the “Car Designer of the Century Award” in Las Vegas, after being selected by a jury including 120 journalists and international experts. Giugiaro has styled more than 200 car models for about 50 million cars travelling on road all over the world.

 

 

 

 

 

The implemented Sound System is based on ECLER VERSO series: 10” cabinets for front L&R channels and 8” cabinets for back L&R channels. The always critical job of  the central channel is done by a DACORD 206i, a small and unobtrusive 2 x 6” loudspeaker. Finally, a double 12” band pass subwoofer takes care of the low frequencies.

3 ECLER DPA SPM TECHNOLOGY amplifiers are the selected units to amplify the processed signal supplied by the ECLER AMIC digital processor. Each channel is individually and precisely adjusted (levels, crossover filters, equalisation, delay and dynamic processing) in order to get the most accurate and balanced sound. 

 

 

 

 

The final result is amazing in terms of fidelity and, specially, dynamics.
